Change Initiatives wants the students of Evergreen State College to build a web site on the organisation

Expectations

Change Initiatives wants the proposed partnership to be a prelude for a more elaborate collaboration when we build the website for Sfulinga. This will involve more complex, web-based interactive tools, besides an additional challenge of working with local language fonts.

What proposer can provide for Evergreen

Evergreen State College will be associated with an award-winning project that has many stakeholders. Your students will also interact with our project beneficiaries, offering new experiences and learning opportunities.

If Evergreen State College becomes our partner, many Indian and international organisations will know about the Community Information Programme. Partners and associates include UNESCO, UNDP, IDRC, Internet Society, OneWorld, Asia Pacific Network Information Centre, Asian Media Information and Communication Centre etc.

We will also attempt to engage our project beneficiaries, who are poor women from a remote region of West Bengal and whom we have endowed with ICT skills, in the collaboration exercise. An interaction between the two groups
