Description

To create a web-based and list-driven platform to be used for presentations of electronic forums to more than 3,000 members of indigenous communities in South America.
Ww have been presenting electronic forums for the past 8 years to developing and less develop countries. Now we envision to have text-only presentations via e-mail(lists) and have the web page as a whiteboard filled with text, graphics, charts, etc. This, to enable all the participants; with poor infrastructure or with state-of-the-art infrastructure to be able to participate.
We already have a large number of indigenous people, their friends, and consultans directly involved with indigenous communities all ready to participate in forums. Later, the same platform could be used for future offerings to the Latino communities of this area.

Expectations

Create a culture of awareness among the indigenous and Latino communities of Latin America. We are already seeing good results, not just from our work, but from many organizations such as ours who are spearheading these efforts.

What proposer can provide for Evergreen

The chance of doing work that will be used by many disadvantaged people. To make a DIFFERENCE!

Reasons to collaborate

Because we admire the methods of teaching that Evergreen uses. We would like to emulate them.
