Portfolio guidelines
Students are expected to maintain a personal portfolio and contribute to a group project portfolio. Both portfolios will be reviewed at the end of each quarter and will serve as one of the bases for evaluations.
Below are the major components of each portfolio. The majority of the work in the personal portfolio will be available in WebX, either as discussions or collected in each student's online portfolio folder. There is no need to print this material out. The project portfolio should be organized according to the sections outlined below.
Detailed descriptions of what is expected for each component of the portfolios will be added and linked through this page as the program progresses.
Personal portfolio:
- Self-evaluations (one for each quarter),
- Student evaluations of faculty (one for each quarter),
- Seminar discussions (online -- do not print them out!)
- Self assessments (there will be several different types of self-assessments, many of which will be online)
- Assignments (again, many of these will have been submitted online)
- Notes, journal entries, and/or other self-reflections which demonstrate both engagement and growth in relation to the program content
